Baijnath Temple

Popularly known as Baijnath Shiva Temple, Baijnath Temple was built in 1207 AD by the devotees of Lord Shiva. This temple provides a tranquil experience in the mountains of Dhauladhar range.

Nurpur Fort

Dedicated to Lord Krishna, Nurpur Fort is about 24 km from Dharamshala. Nurpur is named after the Mughal empress Nur her Jehan. Nurpur Fort is now in ruins, but finely carved reliefs remain.

St. John in the wilderness church 

St. John Church is a magnificent church which was built in the picturesque McLeod Ganj valley, about 8 km from Dharamsala. Located in the dense forest between Mcleodganj and Forsythganj, this church is dedicated to Lord Elgin.

Masroor Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Masroor cut temple is another epitome of Indian history. The temple is a major pilgrimage site for Hindus as it is said to be associated with the mythological era of the Mahabharata. 

Kangra Fort

One of the Kangra district's most famous attractions, Kangra Fort is located on the outskirts of Kangra town, about 22 kilometers from Dharamsala.
